High-Stakes Executive Presentation Skills–Live in NY, Author Alexia Vernon for Vistage Key Executives

For Vistage Key Executives Only, this live workshop with author and public speaking expert, Alexia Vernon.

C-suite leaders are frequently called upon to speak – to present financial information to board members, inspire senior leaders to implement new initiatives, deliver bad news to employees, or share organizational best practices as keynote speakers and panel participants. Irrespective of the high stakes situation, for executives and senior leaders to generate the results they seek from their presentations, they must navigate through real (and at times, self-imposed) barriers to communication success. Led by Alexia Vernon, a seasoned executive speaking coach with a unique ability to create safe spaces for senior leaders to develop their authentic speaking style and amplify their verbal and non-verbal speaking skills, in this experiential workshop, participants will be up on their feet solidifying their high-stakes executive presentation skills. They will refine their core message(s), heighten their presence and speaking delivery, and receive real-time, behavior-based coaching and feedback that they can implement whenever they are tasked to speak.

Value to Participants
By the end of this workshop, Vistage members will cultivate the mindset and corresponding tools to play nicely with the feelings that emerge when giving high stakes presentations. Through hands-on practice and real-time, behavior-based coaching and feedback, they will possess a clear understanding of their executive speaking style and learn how to leverage it when speaking to fellow leaders, board members, executives, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Plus, participants will explore proven strategies to increase their persuasiveness and move audience members to take positive action on their ideas.
